Movement trays are used in wargaming to rank up a number of bases or stands and make them easier to move on a gaming table.

Our line of movement trays are made of high quality plywood and are quality inspected for clean edges and excellent cuts.

These trays come as kits of four pieces that need to be assembled. Included is a tray bottom, a front rail, and 2 side rails. Specially sized magnetic inserts are available for customers that use steel bases.

• Heavy duty! When assembled, they will not easily bend, break or melt like plastic or resin can. Ever left your resin or plastic trays in a hot car when they weren't sitting flat? Our trays won't permanently deform so easily. While we certainly don't recommend it, you can probably throw these trays across the room without much damage... at least to the tray! (Assemble with two-part epoxy for maximum strength, use CA for quick and accurate assembly)
• The plywood parts are easily paintable with enamel or acrylic paints. They're easy to flock too! You can even use wood stain for a very finished and elegant look.

As you can see, the tray comes with a 4mm rail on three sides. This rail has a "picture frame" fit and glues easily in place with some CA glue. There is a 1mm rear lip to prevent figures from easily falling off.
