The staff at Litko Aerosystems is pleased to announce that one month ago we moved into a larger, shinier facility. Our new production shop is twice as large as our previous one, allowing us to grow and meet increasing demand for our product lines.

We have improved our production capabilities with new storage and racking, additional assembly and work area, and a dedicated shop computer. Our design space now incorporates a dedicated photo area and assembly and painting area. We also have a larger shipping area that will allow us to handle more, and larger, shipments.

Litko Aerosystems is happy to announce that ACD Distribution of Madison Wisconsin will be carrying our new token and skirmish tray products. ACD is now taking preorders for these items.

Litko's Wargame Division is happy to release our 12 new skirmish/mob movement trays. We have trays available for 20 and 25mm square bases and 25mm round bases. Patterns of 5, 10 15 and 20 models are available for each base size.

These new trays come with enough bases to fit all the available spots. Use them as blanks to space your figures out more, or use them as bases. Add a rock or other feature (enemy head perhaps!) to empty bases to make them easy to remove.

We have a new pattern available in our 2 inch hex grid template. This pattern has a one foot by two foot form factor for quickly laying down a hex grid on large gaming tables.

The picture at left shows a close up of one of the "stars" that make up the grid.

After numerous requests, we are happy to release a new size in our line of grid templates. These templates can be used as spraypaint stencils for laying down a precise grid on a surface.

This new template has a 2 inch hex grid in a large pattern. The new pattern is actually double the size of our previous releases (almost 11 x 23 inches).

We are now offering a flight base for 1/144th scale model aircraft. This new offering from Litko includes a 2.5 inch hexagonal base custom etched with three lines of text, and a flight peg of 2, 4, or 6 inch length.

We now have exact-size Flames of War^TM compatible bases available. These bases and base bottoms have round corners and dimensions that are the exact same size as official Flames of War bases. Our compatible bases allow you a number of exciting options for better gaming.

Stock Flames of War bases are not very thick and do not allow you to pick up the figures by the edge of the bases. Instead, you are forced to pick up your miniatures themselves, putting wear and tear on your valuable paint job. Litko bases are available in our standard 3mm-thick plywood, which will let you pick up your figures by the base. If you have figures based on stock Flames of War bases already, and you don't want to rebase them, you can glue Litko bases underneath and add some height.

We offer both magnetic and flexible steel base bottoms with rounded, Flames of War -style corners. Add these to the bottoms of your bases for security during figure transport. Litko base bottoms come pre-cut with peel-n-stick adhesive backing. They will fit our bases as well as stock Flames of War bases.

Go even thinner! If you happen to like thin, almost invisible bases, then you will love our thin version of these specialty bases. Precision laser cut from aircraft quality birch plywood, these bases won't warp when flocked and finished.

Litko Aerosystems Inc. is releasing 33 new sizes of our Heavy Duty Movement Trays. All of the new formations are for miniatures based on 20mm square bases. Magnetic and Flexible Steel inserts are also available for the new trays.

Movement trays are used for easily moving troops around on a gaming table so that you don't have to move each individual base. We make flexible steel and magnetic inserts for the trays so that wargamers that use our line of magnetic bases for secure figure transport can also use them to secure their figures into movement trays.

We will also be updating our lines of movement trays for 25mm and 40mm square bases, as well as 25x50mm bases, in the coming weeks.

Litko Aerosystems, Inc. has developed a manufacturing process for producing flight pegs from acrylic rod using laser-cutting technology. This technology significantly improves the manufacturing process and also improves the quality of the final product for the consumer. Production quality flight pegs were the last significant hurdle before we could go into full production of our line of Acrylic Flight Stands.

Our current plans include offering a standard line of acrylic flight bases, along with options for flight pegs in a few lengths (notably 1 inch, 1.5 inch and 2 inch). Flight bases will be produced in hexagonal, square, and circular sizes. We will be offering a service whereby we can laser-etch the surface of the acrylic and permanently engrave a caption on your flight base showing the name, stats, or other important information about the model on the flight stand.
